A smooth value gradient lithograph printed on cream colored paper of three highly stylized human figures. A light source creates a strong contrast of highlights and shadows on the figures’ bodies. A centrally positioned nude female figure faces to her right (viewer’s left) with her right hand covering her mouth. She is seated on a rough textured ground and fills the picture plane. A figure behind wraps a blanket around the central figure with their head resting on the central figure’s left shoulder. Their right arm is extended around the central figure toward the bottom of the image and is holding a deer-shaped toy. A child sits at the bottom right of the image, their back to the viewer, their head turned to the right, reaching up toward the central figure.  The ground below the figures has a gravel-like appearance. The dark sky is filled with small bubble shapes above a horizon line.
