A wrinkled, teal-blue cloth drapes over the surface of a centrally located round-topped wooden table. A thin broom rests diagonally propped in the left corner of this otherwise unpopulated shallow room. Two gray walls converge at the back left corner of the room, capped by a gray ceiling and dark wooden floorboards. On either side of a hingeless white door, crumbling plaster reveals brick below the surface of the unadorned walls. Three stylized clouds hover within the frame of a solitary window placed high on the wall to the viewer’s left. The painting is bordered by a tarnished ornate light green, deep-set and sculptued frame.
